The Most Private of Private Members Clubs

Immersed in the heart of the Highlands, Tulchan Lodge is home to the Tulchan Club.
One of Scotland’s best kept secrets, we offer only a handful of select memberships, helping each Tulchan Club Member feel less like a guest on the Estate, and more like a resident. With exclusive access to the Lodge, as well as special shooting and fishing opportunities, the Estate may feel as if it’s too good to share. Thankfully, with 22,000 acres of Highland expanse to explore, you won’t have to.

Tulchan Club Full Membership Benefits

• Three nights in Tulchan Lodge for up to 26 guests each year
• Two full shoot days for up to 8 guns
• Access to 8 miles of fishing along the world-renowned River Spey at a preferential Member’s rate

Tulchan Lodge

Being part of the Tulchan Club means being part of a private members club that truly is private. At the core of the Club is the magnificent Victorian hunting lodge – Tulchan Lodge. It’s your hub for relaxation and indulgence. It’s a place to entertain, and to be entertained. It’s your Highland home. Every time you’re greeted at the Lodge, you and your guests can rest assured that you’re in the very best of hands.

Painstakingly restored and refurbished after its initial construction in 1906, Tulchan Lodge effortlessly brings together quintessential Highland charm with sympathetic, early 20th Century design. The Lodge proudly boasts all the hallmarks of a traditional yet stylish private members club.

The sense of relaxed sophistication is tangible as lofty ceilings, atmospheric hallways and bespoke bedrooms strike the perfect balance between homeliness and grandeur. Equally as impressive as the interior of the Lodge are the dedicated staff. Specialists in Highland hospitality, they make it their duty to guarantee that Club Members and their guests can indulge in a level of service that is second to none.

So whether you’re leafing through the books in our library, or nosing through the bottles in our extensive wine collection, your life at Tulchan Lodge can be whatever you desire it to be.

Shooting

With acreage and game drives in abundance on the Estate, our Members will cover new ground on each of their shooting days. With new drives in development, this will continue to be the case. Revered for its world-class pheasant shooting, the varied terrain and heather clad hills at Tulchan provide the keen shot with plenty of challenges – namely our fast and high birds.

Stalking, for both roe and red deer is an option on the Estate, as well as shooting for wild duck. Grouse and partridge will also be available in the near future.

Food & Dining

We believe in a seasonal and sustainable approach to food. The Tulchan Estate Farm is home to our ever-expanding herd of prime livestock. Our Head Chef, Ollie Wilson, gives new meaning to local produce, as he enjoys a fully stocked larder, fresh from the farm and wider Estate.

Having previously worked in some of London’s top private members clubs and restaurants, Ollie and his team take great pride in serving expertly prepared yet unpretentious food to our Tulchan Club Members daily. From picnics and barbecues by the river, elevenses on a shoot day or formal dining in the evening, the Tulchan kitchen makes every culinary experience an unforgettable one.

Fishing

As a full member of the Tulchan Club, any time you choose to spend fishing will be spent along the banks of the world famous River Spey. Tended by our experienced team of ghillies our four, six rod beats all sport their own unique character.
