A Beat

The Ghillie – John Anderson.

The Water – Most westerly of the four Tulchan beats, running from the boundary with Castle Grant above the ‘Dolly’ to the ‘Tail of Stream’ below which is B beat. two miles of varied fly water including seven principal named pools.
The Hut - Main hut overlooking ‘Slop an Roan’ with open fire, comfortable sofa, fitted kitchen, dining table, WC, rod room, verandah and barbeque.
The Kings Hut is situated above the ‘Dhu’ pool and was the favourite place of King Edward VII who fished Tulchan regularly in the late 19th and early part of the 20th centuries.
